Welcome to NIA JOY OF MOVEMENT -- Wednesdays in Halifax:
A new 10-week session begins October 20 - December 22

to a joyful group movement practice for every body.
So much more than ‘just a workout,’ Nia offers a holistic fusion of dance, martial arts and healing arts to create an effective, fun and transformational workout for body, mind, emotions and spirit that will leave you smiling while you sweat.
Through Nia, we practice: Moving the Body's Way to Feel Better.
Practicing the art of sensation, Nia classes combine barefoot (recommended & optional) movement for all bodies. Nia builds strength, mobility, agility, flexibility, and grace by following the wisdom and remarkable design of your body. Together, we invite play, pleasure, well being, and joy in movement that is personalized to feel better in your body.
Nia is like chocolate. You have to taste it for yourself to know what it's like!
All are welcome!
No movement experience necessary.
These weekly classes offer you the JOY of movement
by listening to the wisdom and intelligence of your body and
by practicing with sensation to help you feel better and dancing through life!
Registration is required.
If you feel unwell or wish to attend an alternate class in a given week, you can take a 'make up' with any of my Nia or Sing classes, in person or online.
**If my fee doesn't feel possible for you at this time, please choose the Manual Payment option and either PWYC (pay what you can) with cash or e-transfer or Pay It Forward in kind.
